Product-family scope, interfaces, selection limits, and supply notes.
Build a shared mounting surface for optical experiments and instrument assemblies with a solid stainless steel breadboard. The standard size options specify a 10 mm thickness and a choice of footprints. The manufacturer's artwork shows M6 tapped holes on a 25 × 25 mm grid with a 25 mm edge margin for positioning post bases, mounts and fixtures. Check the hole layout, hole count and usable thread depth against the drawing for your selected size.
Construction and use
The board provides a common mounting surface for compatible magnetic bases and threaded fixtures. The source describes a textured surface finish but gives no numerical roughness or flatness specification. No stainless steel grade, magnetic acceptance value or vibration isolation rating is documented for this family. Treat it as a mounting board; specify any material or isolation requirements separately.
Choosing and installing a board
Start with the equipment footprint, then check the mounting pattern, support locations, equipment weight and handling arrangements. Load capacity depends on the support arrangement as well as the board itself; thickness and hole spacing alone do not establish a load rating. Standard metric grids and custom imperial layouts require separate confirmation. The source provides no dimensions for the imperial option.
What is included
A standard size SKU identifies the board configuration. Handles, leveling feet, rubber pads and triangular supports are separate options and are not included automatically. The manufacturer specifically lists handles and leveling feet as separate purchases. Keep the pack quantity stated for each accessory SKU. Steel plate options without confirmed units or thickness remain drawing-based custom requests.
Requesting a quote
Send the selected size or SKU, mounting-hole drawing, equipment and load distribution, support arrangement, required accessories, surface and cleanliness requirements, and delivery address. For precision positioning, magnetic clamping or vibration-sensitive setups, also agree the material grade, flatness, usable thread depth, magnetic acceptance criteria and support design.
