Product-family scope, interfaces, selection limits, and supply notes.
The adjustable retaining-ring spanner engages mating ring holes or slots. The source specifies a 3–73 mm adjustable pin spacing. ZFG-KK selects the complete tool; ZFG-KK-GS selects a pair of replacement pins. These are different supply selections.
Adjustment and engagement
A knurled adjustment wheel changes the spacing between the two pins, which are secured by set screws. The source describes removable pins with one end for round holes and the other for straight slots. Check hole diameter, slot width, engagement depth and tool access. The 3–73 mm spacing range is not pin diameter.
Assembly and use
Support the workpiece and ensure both pins engage adequately before turning. The cover claims a maximum withstand torque of 9 N·m without specifying verification conditions. This promotional value is not a recommended lens-retaining-ring tightening torque. Follow the requirements for the actual ring and optical assembly.
Material and accuracy
The source identifies stainless steel but does not give alloy grade, hardness, pin tolerances or a torque-test method. Check pin model and condition; wear or slipping can affect engagement with the retaining ring.
Supplied items
ZFG-KK-GS identifies the source’s pair of replacement pins and does not include the complete spanner. Confirm the pin and accessory list supplied with ZFG-KK. Lenses, retaining rings and installation services are not included automatically. Loose pins pictured beside the tool do not define the included-item list for both SKUs.
