Flat-tip fine-thread screws for optomechanical adjustment mechanisms. The original artwork identifies 303 stainless steel and shows M4 × 0.25, M5 × 0.25 and M6 × 0.25 examples. Choose the contact tip, mating thread and length together. Keep the complete DXPS model for each SKU; unlisted engineering dimensions are not decoded from the model number.
Contact and mating parts
Define the driven surface, its material and the required contact arrangement. Flat and ball tips are different contact styles and are not interchangeable simply because the threads match. Ask the supplier to confirm tip geometry, mating internal thread, usable engagement and installation space.
Thread and length
Source images show example diameters and length ranges, but a range illustration is not an individual SKU drawing. Put the complete model and confirmed specifications on the purchase document. Confirm any undocumented pitch, thread tolerance or length datum separately.
Adjustment and acceptance
Check the full usable stroke with the intended nut or bushing for binding or play. Nominal thread pitch does not establish system positioning accuracy or repeatability. The source provides no load, torque, backlash or service-life rating; define acceptance requirements for the actual mechanism.
Supply scope
The photograph shows several family examples, not a mixed set supplied with each SKU. State quantity, complete model, drive method, contact requirement, lubrication and cleanliness in the quote request. Mating nuts, bushings and optical mounts are not included automatically.
