Product overview and selection guidance

Product-family scope, interfaces, selection limits, and supply notes.

The GCL-0608 series contains six online SKUs with quarter-wave or half-wave configurations and model-specific wavelength bands. The source explicitly distinguishes diameter 25.4 from clear aperture φ18 but gives no dimension units. Diameter and usable aperture are therefore kept separate without assuming millimeters. The quarter-wave 700–1000 nm model and half-wave 650–1000 nm model have different band limits, which are retained as printed. Air-spaced, achromatic and quartz are confirmed configuration descriptions. Retardance accuracy across the band, transmission, angular response and damage conditions still require documentation. English artwork follows the black round housings, colored central optics and Fast markings in the photographs. It does not establish a two-piece supply or calibrated axis alignment.

Band and retardance pairing

The six models state quarter-wave or half-wave retardance and a wavelength band in nm. GCL-060802 is quarter-wave for 700–1000 nm, while GCL-060812 is half-wave for 650–1000 nm; their limits differ. The 450–650 and 900–2100 nm bands each have separate retardance configurations. A listed band does not provide a numerical retardance-accuracy guarantee across that band.

Air-spaced achromatic quartz configuration

Air-spaced, achromatic and quartz are explicit source descriptions. The family is not reclassified as polymer, optically contacted or ordinary multi-order. Internal plate count, other constituent materials, air-gap spacing, crystal axes, temperature response and angular acceptance are absent. Additional construction or performance is not inferred.

Diameter and clear aperture

The title explicitly identifies diameter 25.4, and cards state φ25.4 with clear aperture φ18. These distinct meanings are retained, but neither dimension has a unit, so millimeters are not supplied. Confirm thickness, whether diameter includes the housing, tolerances, clamping surfaces and interfaces. Photographic Fast lines do not establish calibrated axis accuracy.

Appearance, inspection and delivery

Colored optics in the shared two-housing photo do not establish coating or transmission. Two pictured pieces do not establish package quantity. Confirm retardance-error curves, actual wavelengths, incidence conditions, damage limits, cleaning, accessories and inspection data. The source offers custom sizes and lists 2–7 days for dispatch; confirm current stock, quantity and delivery.
