OMPS20 cylindrical stainless steel posts have a 20 mm diameter and work with optical post holders to support and position laboratory components. Original SKU labels specify 21 lengths: whole-millimeter choices from 20 to 500 mm and inch-based lengths from 12.7 to 101.6 mm. The diameter remains 20 mm. Select length and confirm the thread standard separately.
Length choices
Whole-millimeter models are OMPS20-20M, 25M, 30M, 40M, 50M, 60M, 75M, 80M, 100M, 120M, 150M, 200M, 250M, 300M and 500M. Original labels give OMPS20-0.5, 1, 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 lengths of 12.7, 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 76.2 and 101.6 mm respectively. Use the complete model and stated length. Inch-based length names do not establish imperial end threads.
End interfaces and removable stud
The series installation image labels an M4 upper tapped hole and an M6 lower tapped hole. It shows a removable upper stud described as standard hardware. No model-by-model thread table is supplied, so the image does not independently establish the end interfaces for every length, especially the inch-based options. Confirm both threads, pitch, hole depth, stud specification and quantity for the order.
Mounting and fit
The installation example uses an OMPH20 holder and an OMPB25-SF fork clamp. These are mounting context and are not included automatically with the post. Photographs also show a transverse tool hole, but its diameter and allowable tightening torque are not supplied. Check the 20 mm holder fit, useful engagement length, component center of gravity and available space.
Material and specification limits
The source identifies stainless steel without a grade, heat treatment, surface roughness or diameter and length tolerances. Load ratings, straightness and stability test data are not supplied. Series photographs are not individual photographs of every length and do not define a multi-post kit. Confirm the available customization scope separately.
