OMTF-Z30 Snap-In Cage System Covers

OMTF-Z30 black cover strips have lengthwise clip grooves for attachment to compatible cage rods, helping shield a beam path from side-entry ambient light. The two sales options are a single strip and a four-strip pack. Both individual SKU images state 1 metre per strip. Generic promotional images instead describe 24-inch strips and several cage formats; this length and fit discrepancy must be resolved for the ordered model.

Length and packaging discrepancy

The OMTF-Z30-1 image states 1 metre per strip and one strip per pack. OMTF-Z30-4 states 1 metre per strip and four strips per pack. Generic instructions say four strips, each 24 inches long, and reference C16L24, C30L24 and C60L24 rather than the actual OMTF-Z30 sales models. The SKU-image length is retained with the discrepancy recorded; 24 inches is not transferred to these SKUs. Confirm supplied length and cutting requirements before ordering.

Snap-in profile and cage fit

Source photographs show lengthwise grooves clipping onto cage rods to cover a side of the beam path. Generic instructions describe a flange to aid removal. The main image advertises 16, 30 and 60 mm cage use, while generic diagrams show three separate profiles of different widths. Only two OMTF-Z30 pack options are sold here, without width, groove dimensions or a compatibility table. This does not establish that one strip fits all three cage formats.

Use and shielding limits

These covers help control ambient light from the sides and enclose a beam path. The source supplies no optical density, wavelength range, laser-protection rating, flammability classification or sealing performance, so the product is not presented as a certified laser enclosure. Check groove fit to rod diameter, cage spacing, effective coverage and clearance around other hardware. End openings and seams may need separate shielding. Rods, cage plates, posts and optics are not automatically included.

Material and supply details

Photographs show black strips without a material, finish, thickness, temperature or stiffness specification. Confirm cutting methods, tools, repeated-removal suitability and custom-order conditions with the supplier. A four-strip pack contains four cover strips; it does not include a complete cage system or all end caps.
