Product overview and selection guidance

Product-family scope, interfaces, selection limits, and supply notes.

The QY family consists of thin annular optic retainer plates shown in the source photographs. Each has three curved slots with rounded inward contact tongues and three evenly spaced mounting holes. Seven online models cover the inch and metric optic sizes listed in the dimension table. The documentation records opening A, outside diameter B, mounting-hole circle C and hole diameter D separately; the side view states a thickness of 0.50 mm. Opening diameter is not treated as nominal optic diameter, and a mounting-hole diameter is not rewritten as a thread designation. QY-1.5 lacks a dedicated photograph, causing subsequent file positions to differ from SKU order. Images are matched by their actual model labels, while QY-1.5 uses its explicit table row. Material, spring force, clamping load, dimensional tolerances and accessories require confirmation. English artwork identifies the family’s thin three-slot geometry.

Thin plate with three curved slots

QY is a thin annular optic retainer plate. The photographs and drawing show three curved slots ending in inward rounded contact tongues, plus three evenly spaced mounting holes. The center is open rather than filled with an optic. No external thread is specified, so the part is not described as a threaded retaining ring. The thin-sheet geometry helps identify the retention interface; spring force and clamping performance cannot be quantified from its photograph or slot shape.

Drawing symbols and units

The main/002 drawing explicitly uses millimeters. A marks the opening diameter, B the outside diameter, and C the mounting-hole center-circle diameter. The evenly spaced 3–ØD callout identifies three holes with diameter D. The side view labels a thickness of 0.50 mm. Model-specific A/B/C/D values are recorded individually in the SKU notes. A hole diameter is not a thread specification, and a hole-circle diameter is not the plate’s outside diameter.

Inch and metric optic selections

QY-0.5, QY-1.0, QY-1.5 and QY-2.0 are listed for nominal Ø0.5, Ø1.0, Ø1.5 and Ø2.0 inch optics respectively. QY-2028, QY-3042 and QY-4052 are listed for Ø20, Ø30 and Ø40 mm optics. Their A values are 13.2, 25.9, 38.6, 51.3, 20.4, 30.4 and 40.2 mm respectively, kept separate from nominal optic diameter. Dimensions are not decoded from model digits.

Source matching and assembly conditions

There are six dedicated photographs, labeled QY-0.5, QY-1.0, QY-2.0, QY-2028, QY-3042 and QY-4052 in that order. QY-1.5 appears only in the dimension table; the QY-2.0 photograph is not assigned to it by file position. Material grade, heat treatment, spring force, tolerances and allowable preload are unspecified. Silver appearance does not establish stainless steel. Check optic edge, mounting-hole pattern, axial space and clamping load. Confirm screws, optics, other accessories, quantity and delivery separately.
