ZFJ Height-Adjustable Clamping Arms

ZFJ-D and ZFJ-E are clamping arm assemblies with a mounting post. The black split clamp slides along the post and locks with a clamp screw; an M4 rubber-tipped set screw at the arm end contacts the component being held. Individual ZFJ-D1 and ZFJ-E1 cards show extension posts with female and male M4 ends, rather than complete clamping arms.

Clamping arm dimensions

The engineering table explicitly covers ZFJ-D and ZFJ-E. D has a 17.5 mm center distance, 5 mm post diameter, 30.5 mm overall arm length and 35 mm post height H. E lists 29.3, 6, 42.3 and 51 mm respectively. The H dimension excludes the mounting thread; the drawing separately labels the lower M4 projection as 5 mm. Center distance runs from the post axis to the contact-screw axis and is not adjustment travel.

Extension post models

The ZFJ-D1 card labels a 35 mm post body and ZFJ-E1 a 51 mm body. Both show an M4 female end, an M4 male end and a transverse tool hole. These cards do not specify post diameter, thread depth or pitch. Do not transfer every D/E assembly dimension to D1/E1. Confirm the packing list for any additional components.

Adjustment and contact

Secure the mounting interface, set the arm position and lock the clamp before bringing the end screw into contact with the component. The source describes an M4 rubber-tipped screw but does not identify the tip compound, allowable contact force or a guaranteed surface-protection rating. Usable height depends on post length, clamp geometry and mounting position; no rated adjustment travel is supplied.

Selection and supply

Specify the complete model, arm length and center distance, mounting interface, component dimensions and quantity. Material grade, finish, dimensional tolerances, tightening torque and load capacity are not supplied. Customization is advertised by the source; confirm the available scope. A series image is not a model-specific packing list.
