Product overview and selection guidance

Product-family scope, interfaces, selection limits, and supply notes.

A ribbed cylindrical grip turns a projecting male hex shaft by hand, making this ZFN family useful for manual adjustment or quick assembly of a mating hex-driven component. Four models are offered. Dedicated images identify knob and hex dimensions for the two #2 models only; the family art mentions 8 and 12 mm grips and 2, 2.5 and 3 mm hex tips without mapping every size to the other two models. Confirm the exact fit before ordering, especially shaft projection and driver size. English artwork is a family illustration, not a dimensional drawing.

Hand-operated design

A black knurled grip gives fingers purchase, while its external hex shaft engages a matching socket. The source provides no torque rating; the image alone does not establish permissible tightening force.

Dimensions supported by model images

The #2-0810 image labels an 8 mm knob and 2 mm across-flats hex; #2-1210 labels a 12 mm knob and 2 mm hex. The family art also lists 2.5 and 3 mm options, but dedicated images for their exact models are absent.

Fit and installation

Match hex across flats, shaft reach, knob diameter and available finger clearance to the mating component. The supplier describes leaving the knob in a screw’s hex socket for convenient adjustment, but provides no fit tolerance or retention force.

Evidence limits

Material, finish standard, overall knob height, shaft projection and retention are unconfirmed. A knurled appearance is not a specified grip rating or service-life claim.
