ZGH-38 cylindrical stainless steel optical posts have a 38 mm diameter. Series information identifies an M6 tapped hole at each end and a 6 mm transverse through-hole. All 28 individual model photographs explicitly label body length, covering whole-millimeter options from 25 to 1000 mm and inch-based lengths from 25.4 to 355.6 mm. Length naming does not change the 38 mm series diameter.
Length selection
Whole-millimeter models include 25, 30, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 750 and 1000. Individual cards for models 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 label 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 76.2, 101.6, 127, 152.4, 203.2, 254, 304.8 and 355.6 mm respectively. Use the complete model and stated length rather than guessing units.
End interfaces and tool hole
The series feature image identifies M6 tapped holes at both ends; the application image labels a 6 mm transverse through-hole. Individual photographs show axial and transverse openings without model-specific pitch, hole depth or end-face-to-hole-center dimensions. Do not scale photographs or transfer hole positions from another post series. Supplied studs, tools and accessory quantities are unconfirmed.
Mounting and fit
Check the 38 mm holder or clamp fit, useful engagement, overhang and component center of gravity. Do not assume 38 mm and 38.1 mm parts interchange. Longer posts also require space and support checks. Load capacity, tightening torque and clamping force are not supplied; diameter and length do not establish a performance rating.
Material and supply
The source advertises precision-ground stainless steel without grade, roughness, tolerances or a straightness report. Some original color options carry pale-gray or white names alongside explicit models; photographs show silver metal and do not establish coating colors. Series presentation does not define a kit. Holders, bases and optical components are not included automatically.
