ZGY-0.5 Fork Clamps for Optical Posts

ZGY-0.5 fork clamps hold a post base flange against a mounting platform, with a screw positioned in the longitudinal slot. Four source models differ in material, mounting screw size and slot profile. Select by complete model rather than color alone.

Model differences

Individual model cards identify A as stainless steel for an M4 screw, B as aluminum alloy for M6, D as stainless steel for M6 and C as aluminum alloy for M3. Photographs show recessed slots on A and C and plain slots on B and D. Color illustrates appearance; it does not establish a material grade or finishing process.

Dimensions and post fit

All four model cards label a 40.5 mm length and a 9.1 mm fork opening. The series image mentions 12/12.7 mm posts, while the installation photograph shows the fork retaining a flange at the post base. The 9.1 mm opening is not a post bore. Check the base neck, flange geometry, clamp height and contact position.

Fasteners and platform connection

The source pairs M4 with 8-32, M6 with 1/4-20 and M3 with 4-40. These metric and inch threads are different and are not interchangeable. The labels concern screw and slot compatibility; the slot is not a tapped hole. Confirm the platform thread, screw-head style, length and actual slot clearance.

Installation and supply

Source installation examples show a post, clamp and screw together and do not define the accessories included with an individual SKU. Provide the complete model, quantity, post-base dimensions and platform hole pattern. Material grade, finish, slot tolerances, allowable torque and load capacity are not supplied as verified performance specifications.
