ZGA-25 Ø25 mm Stainless Steel Pedestal Posts

ZGA-25 stainless steel optical posts have a 25 mm body diameter, an integral round foot flange and axial mounting threads at the top and underside. All 20 individual model cards state a length, including metric lengths and inch-equivalent options. ZGA-25-05 is labeled 12.7 mm, while ZGA-25-12.5 is labeled 12.5 mm; these are separate selections.

Models and stated lengths

The individual cards label suffixes 05, 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 4 and 6 as 12.7, 25.4, 38.1, 50.8, 63.5, 76.2, 101.6 and 152.4 mm respectively. Other cards state 12.5, 20, 25, 30, 38, 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 300 and 400 mm. These values are read from the cards rather than inferred from model codes. No formal engineering drawing is supplied; confirm flange diameter, thickness and the length datum, including whether the flange is counted.

Threads and tool access

The series image identifies an M4 top thread and M6 underside thread and shows one removable screw of each size offered with the product. Confirm this supply arrangement for the selected model. Longer post photographs show a transverse tool hole, labeled 5 mm through-hole in the series image; it is not a mounting thread. No side hole is visible in the 12.5 or 12.7 mm stub-post cards, so it is not assumed for those options.

Mounting applications

Source illustrations show a mirror mount attached to the top and a fork clamp securing the pedestal to a table. Another illustration stacks stainless steel spacers to increase height. Mirror mounts, fork clamps, tables and spacers are application accessories and are not automatically included. Check table threads, accessory fit, optical center height and clearance for clamping the foot. The stated post length alone does not establish the final assembly height.

Material and supply details

The source identifies stainless steel, with a silver machined appearance in the photographs. It does not provide a steel grade, surface roughness, straightness, dimensional tolerances, rated load or environmental compatibility.
