ZGW holders accept an optical post through the mounting bore and secure its position with a knurled side knob. The source dimension table lists 15 complete models: six for 12 mm posts and nine for 12.7 mm posts. Match these bore sizes separately. A common outside diameter does not make metric and half-inch posts interchangeable.
Bore size and model
A denotes the post mounting bore. ZGW-12 models are listed with a 12 mm bore and ZGW-05 models with a 12.7 mm bore. Height H is recorded by complete model, spanning 25.4–150 mm with additional 40 mm and 90 mm selections. Values are transcribed from the table, not decoded from suffixes.
Height and base geometry
The drawing measures H from the top surface of the base to the holder’s top and labels base thickness separately as 5 mm. H is therefore not presented as overall height including the base. The drawing gives a 24.80 mm body diameter, a 32 mm base diameter and a 14 mm knob diameter. Confirm the bottom mounting connection, thread depth and bore-fit tolerances separately.
Clamping and material
The source describes an aluminum-alloy body and a side knob for securing the post. It does not specify alloy grade, finishing process, knob thread or allowable tightening torque. Check insertion depth, contact position, equipment center of gravity and loading. A hand-operated knurled knob is not a verified load-capacity or repeatability rating.
Supply and installation details
Provide the complete model, quantity, post diameter and length, platform interface and loading requirements. Posts, optical mounts, other bases, platforms and installation services are not included automatically. Different holder heights pictured together illustrate the series and do not define a mixed pack.
